AB 1205 needs your help today! AB 1205 DID NOT make it out of the Assembly Appropriations Committee.

    Last updated 2 years ago

We have 2 weeks to make this happen. If AB 1205 does not pass out of Assembly Appropriations, AB 1205 won't even make it onto the Assembly floor for a vote. Without AB 1205, health plans will continue to deny requests for services for ABA. They will continue to use the lack of licensed providers as a reason to deny services.

We need your help to overcome this hurdle!

We all know California is in a budget crisis. That is yet another reason why AB 1205 must pass. Here's what you should know:

    • The ongoing administrative costs will be fully funded by licensure fees.

    • The State would not implement AB 1205 until 2015 (when the state budget will be in better shape).

    • The Committee will decide within the next 2 weeks whether or not to let the bill go forward.

Our elected officials need to know that this is personally important to you!

    Here's how you can help:

    1. Contact YOUR Assembly Member and ask him/her to talk to Assembly Member Fuentes, Chair of the Assembly Appropriations Committee. Call, write, e-mail but ACT NOW. WE HAVE ONLY A SMALL WINDOW TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. ****urgent***** Do this now.
